In the year 3032 all humans have departed from Earth for a millennium. The animal tribes that have survived Earth’s harsh conditions and the decimation of other animal species have formed a council and vowed to live together in harmony. Fifty years since the establishment of peace, the tribes gather to celebrate and encounter a new species. Their reactions show their true nature and test the bonds of their council.
Slow Bullet, My Three Loves tells the story of Rhea Davies, a thirty-something dark-skinned black woman contemplating suicide. On the day she decides to commit the act, she is visited by the three men who have helped to shape her view of the world. Slow Bullet, My Three Loves deals with the themes of depression, mental illness, colorism, and abandonment.
Nathan Strange is a 25-year-old visual artist out of Bed-Stuy Brooklyn who is on the verge of becoming the next big thing in the NYC art scene. While working on his final painting for his upcoming art show, Nathan expresses his views about what it means to be black moments before being murdered by the police. Strange Fruit Redux is a series of poem monologs mixed with music and socio-political, pop culture sound bites geared to show the fears and frustrations of the modern day black man.
Set in underground house scene of New York City during the mid-90s, The Outing centers on three twenty-somethings who reveal an unknown secret and the acceptance or nonacceptance of life outside the closet.
